Voices at Night

by darkmatterman on Jul.31, 2009, under blog

Vocaleez will be performing at the Bellevue Park School, Sapien Rd, Southport 4215 on the 28th August from 7:30pm at the Blenders sponsored concert, Voices at Night. This concert is a celebration of everything acappella from the sound of Vocaleez with it’s smooth jazz pop fusion to barbershop to acappella modern. We will be joining the best of the Gold Coast’s vocal groups, sharing the bill with Eight Feet There, Cloud 8, Men Wot Sing, and Forte.

recording with Jason Campbell-Smith

by mit_500 on May.13, 2009, under blog

We had a ball on Sunday where the intrepid 5 of us trekked to a little studio run by Stuart Stuart (see his Chartsong company).  There we met the talented mr. Jason Campbell-Smith, he of sunchaser fame who chanced upon our website and asked us to do some backing on a track he is submitting to the ASA songwriting competition.

A totally awesome day followed by a wonderful evening performing to Yani’s Tounges of Fire (TOF) and followed by a great night at mama mia’s.

Here’s the guys (except me) around Jason - working… is making music really working? - doesn’t feel like it :-)
